Who this coaching can help

Coaching can be a great fit if you want support with patterns such as:

  • Feeling stuck in cycles of binge eating or struggling with food choices
  • Getting frustrated with ARFID symptoms while trying to increase food variety
  • Wishing to eat enough food and end restrictive episodes
  • Experiencing guilt, shame, anxiety, or persistent thoughts around food
  • Wanting to build a more flexible, compassionate relationship with eating
  • Practicing consistency, mindfulness, and self-trust during recovery
  • Following through on goals and coping strategies between appointments with your treatment team

You do not need to have the perfect words for what you are experiencing to start a conversation. We can discuss what support you are looking for and whether coaching seems appropriate for your situation.

What working together looks like

Weekly one-on-one coaching

We focus on your goals, current challenges, and practical next steps. Sessions are personalized to your needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. We end each session with at least one "experiment" for the rest of the week - something low-stakes that you can try to reach your goals, and learn from along the way.

Daily text check-ins

Between sessions, daily accountability texts can help you stay connected to your intentions, reflect on challenges, and follow through on the experiments you choose. Ronnie is also available by text in case you encounter difficulty or want to share successes!

Skills for everyday life

Coaching may include mindfulness, reflection, planning, and strategies for responding to difficult moments with greater compassion and intention. The aim is to help you practice skills in real life, not to expect perfection.

A compassionate, lived-experience approach

Peace is Possible is grounded in the belief that change can happen through compassion, mindfulness, intention, authenticity, connection, and joy. The coaching relationship is collaborative: your experiences and goals matter, and we work together to identify steps that feel realistic and meaningful.

Ronnie's lived-experience recovering from eating disorders and addiction helps you feel understood while benefitting from a practical approach.

Accessible coaching

The standard coaching rate is $100 per week, with sliding-scale options available for eligible clients. If cost is a concern, please reach out so we can discuss the available options.

Is recovery coaching the right level of support?

Recovery coaching is non-clinical support. It does not provide psychotherapy, medical care, diagnosis, or eating-disorder treatment. Eating disorders can involve serious medical and mental-health risks, and coaching is not a replacement for care from qualified healthcare professionals. If you are currently receiving treatment, coaching can be considered alongside that care when appropriate and with clear roles.

If you need medical assessment, specialized eating-disorder treatment, or urgent support, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or appropriate local emergency service. During a consultation, we can talk openly about what you need and whether coaching is a suitable fit.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a formal eating-disorder diagnosis?

No diagnosis is required to start a conversation. We can discuss the food-related challenges you are experiencing and whether the non-clinical support offered through coaching fits your needs.

How often do we meet?

The coaching model includes a weekly one-to-one session and daily text check-ins. We can discuss the details during a free consultation.

Can coaching replace therapy or medical treatment?

No. Coaching is non-clinical support and does not replace therapy, medical monitoring, nutrition care, or specialized eating-disorder treatment when those services are needed.
